D-Day + 25,202

More than 25,000 days ago Soldiers and Sailors from the Allied nations went ashore at Normandy, France. Embarking on a quest to rid the world of a new tyranny. The history is well written about this day sixty-nine years ago. However, to those that died that day and the many after it, the war didn't end with a win. They never got to see with their own eyes the victory that their blood paid for. Let us not forget those honorable dead that remain forever young. Thank you brave souls, your sacrifice was not in vain.

Best laid plans.

I fully intended to write more this week after I finished working Tuesday morning. However, lazy is not just a lack of action, it's my lifestyle. Besides that I got word the afternoon of the 25th that a friend of mine had started contractions. I was eagerly awaiting sharing my B-day with the new rug monkey. And everyday since. He, however, had other plans. He arrived yesterday evening, happy and healthy. Meh, close enough. Well played kiddo.

Thirty two years and counting.

Can't hardly believe I'm 32 today. Doesn't seem that long ago that I graduated HS. I've now been out of school as long as I spent in it. Being that I graduated on my 18th in 1999. Don't seem right. Just thinking back makes it seem like yesterday.

This post is geared toward those that seem to think of us right-wing, bitter clingers as some sort of stupid, cousin-humping, rednecks. Firstly, my IQ is 130 as an average. Herein I endeavor to honor those soldiers of Australia and New Zealand, whom traveled abroad to lay their lives upon the self-sacrificial alter that is Freedom. God-speed.

Sh*t just got real.

   Things are starting to come to a head. The fed.gov wants us to disarm, we say no. The CSGVMMMVPCeieio want us disarmed, we say no. The big Zero gets on national TeeVee to whine like a child that didn't get their way, we said suck it up buttercup. Well, we decided to head em off at the pass here in Ol' MO. I present you the next battle we'll wage with the illegal forces of the fed.gov, most likely in federal court, where they will say only they have any power under the US Constitution. Well we just passed a law through the House here that tells em to STFU. Pretty sure they can pass it in the Senate too. Nixon signing or vetoing it is irrelevant, its called a VETO PROOF majority for a reason. 

   Without further ado, HB 436 'The Second Amendment Preservation Act'. Basically it says the fed.gov can go piss up a rope with regards as to what goes on here in this state. The important parts are that it revokes the power of the fed.gov to enforce any of their little laws in the State of Missouri and that all of the laws the fed.gov passes or has passed are null and void. To include penalties for attempted enforcement of such laws. I quote:  

3. (1) All federal acts, laws, orders, rules, and regulations, whether past, present, or future, which infringe on the people's right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 23 of the Missouri Constitution shall be invalid in this state, shall not be recognized by this state, shall be specifically rejected by this state, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this state.

            (2) Such federal acts, laws, orders, rules, and regulations include, but are not limited to:

            (a) The provisions of the federal Gun Control Act of 1934;

            (b) The provisions of the federal Gun Control Act of 1968;

   So, NFA 1934...gone, GCA 1968...gone. 1986's little BS...buhbye. Wanna mount a Mk19 grenade launcher to the bed of your pickup...use it in good health. Double mount a couple M-134's to the hood of your sports car like 007....have fun with it. As long as you use your pimped out 105mm Arty piece with care and prudence you are on the side of Angels and the fed.gov can't say shit about it. However if you choose to be a thug, act like a thug, wannabe thug or otherwise act like a liberal then you get slapped with some of the strictest penalties I've seen yet. Finally people who actually get it. Break no law of the state you're as good as God's right hand, break a law with a firearm or in possession of a firearm, you're f**ked, as it should be. Penalties for the people that break the law with "malice aforethought" not for those that didn't pay close enough attention to the 600,000 pages of law regarding the owning, use, care and feeding of their favorite bambi zapper or thug repellent.
