A new, simpler definition of "Engineer," presented without further comment.
Engineer:
(1) Someone who can design and build a machine to fit a need and maintain it's operation.
(2) Someone who can take someone else's machine and figure out where they, or you, screwed it up and fix it.
(3) Someone who takes one look at your now non-functioning machine and tells you to "get f***ed" because "fixing it isn't an option."

Welcome to how my mind works. All that formed up in there after I showed up at work that Friday evening and our Project Engineer was installing weather strips around the door to the office...a job I didn't really see as engineer worthy.
